Places to travel in India after the pandemic!

Hey, there! Are you a travel lover? Or just bored of being locked in your house for months! Want to go out for a refreshment! Yes you are right that right now you can just dream of such journey and you must see the dream to make it true. So to feed the travel bug within you and give yourself a break from the fears and tensions, here is some recommendations where you can travel after the pandemic. As we have encountered an epidemic so we must keep in mind some points before packing our bags, these are- safety, budget, easy to approach and it is better to keep the abroad and outskirt countries out of the list, to be in safe side and also help in the economy of our country
 
So the places are;     

                                    

1.   Meghalaya

Yes, you read it right! After being locked in concrete walls why not go to the cuddle of Mother Nature. Meghalaya a hill station, one of the seven sister states of North-Eastern India, till date it reported very less cases of COVID 19. The name means “the abode of clouds”. Like to see a place having world record! Here is Cherrapunji, the wettest place on planet earth, with highest amount of rainfall. The state is also famous for subtropical forests, biodiversity, cleanest village, Living root bridge, National parks and Wildlife sanctuaries. It has a number of water falls like Elephant Falls, Noakalikai Falls.

Dawki River is one of the popular tourist place for its crystal clear water. The Capital of this state, Shillong is known as “Scotland of the east”, the Umian Lake of shilling has an eye catching scenario. It also offers many adventure opportunity like hiking, rock climbing, tracking and obviously water sports. All together creating an ecotourism circuits. Best time to visit is between October and June.
 

2.  Assam

Are you a tea lover? Then you must have heard the name of a state called Assam, whose exotic taste was in your cup even a while ego! A place famous for world’s best and largest tea producer is also popular for a lot of other things like architecture, natural beauty, biodiversity, temples, One Horned Rhinoceros, festivals, Muga Silk and what not! From Mekhla chador to Sada lal par sari, dozons of National Parks to the world's largest river island, Majuli.

Assam is rich with its diverse tribal cultures. Brahmaputra River and Barak River are the main rivers of this state. Ambubachi Mela a most attractive 4 days festival of Assam, people from all over India and abroad comes to witness this, celebrated in the month of June every year is the most important festival of the Kamakhya temple worshipping Goddess Kamakhya. Some other popular festivals are Maha Shiva ratri of Shibasagar, Dol uthsav, Barpeta and obviously the Durga Puja especially in Barak Valley, celebrated as the main festival of the region, the Bihu is one of the major festival of Assamese people. Want to see water dolphin or Hollock Gibbon? Go for a visit in Dibru River and Dibru-Saikhowa National Park. Interested in Archaeological remains! Sibsagar is a place for you, having rich and ancient cultural heritage, famous for Rang Ghar, TalatalGhar, KarengGhar. Majuli Island, the treasure of Assam is a World largest inhabited River Island. Great Indian One Horn Rhinoceros, pride of Assam can be encountered in Kaziranga National Park, rich in flora & fauna. Assam is also known as city of temples, some of these are Maa Kamakhya Temple, Balaji Temple, Nabagraha Temple, Umananda Island Temple, etc. Sualkuchi silk village, Manchester of the East, known for indigenous fabrics especially the Pat and Muga silk. Assam has also hosted filmfare award function last year all sums up in a worth visiting, safe to travel place, soothing to your eyes, discover more with a visit to this place.
 

3.Manipur

An evergreen place of northeast India which is least touched & least discovered. Also known as “jeweled town” or gem of India. It has compatibly less COVID cases then other places of the country. Famous for its rich tribal culture, Manipuri dance, rare birds and flowers, dense forest, clear lakes, waterfalls and peaceful environment. Loktak lake is one of the must visit place, it has popular floating islands.

 Want to see the rare and endangered species of brow antlered deer! Find them in Keibul Lamjao National Park, 48 km away from Imphal the capital of the state and it is the only floating national park of the world. The tourist season is from October to February.
