Are you facing skin issues? Not happy with your skin? Depressed with your skin? Want to improve it? And do you feel a lack of confidence? Then the reasons somewhat lie in your negligence i.e. not taking care of your skin properly.
Do you know taking good care of your skin can boost up your mental health?
Let put those tips down in some points
1. Daily skincare routine
To be a good student you must have a routine right? So to have good skin why you should not follow a basic routine?! There are four basic steps in a skincare routine, you can do once in the morning, and once before you sleep.
Cleansing: A cleanser that is mild and doesn't contain harsh chemicals in it are best for your skin.
Remember it is your skin, not cloth so do not rub it harshly with cleanser.
Clean your face no more than twice a day.
I use clean and clear having acne-prone sensitive skin. It works well on oily and combination skin.
If you have acne then find such cleanser which contains these things:-
- salicylic acid
- benzoyl peroxide
- alpha hydroxy acids
- tea tree oil
In the morning I use gram flour/ besan for cleaning my face.
It is purely organic so doesn’t harm my skin.
Gram flour has been in the skincare routine of India from ancient periods. Zinc in besan has been shown to fight the infections that cause your face to erupt with acne. Controls the excess sebum production and there are numerous other benefits that I can write a whole 1000 word blog on the benefits.
You can add some pinch of Haldi/ turmeric in it for more benefit.

If you want I can write a blog on natural skincare products and how to use them with their benefits.
Toning:
Toning is another important part of the skincare routine.
After cleaning your face you must try to add a toner on your skin.
Again go for the organic product or you can make your toner with a natural ingredients like green tea or green tea+ cucumber juice or rose water.
here are some recommendations for toner
Moisturizer: Moisturizing is the most important part of the skincare routine. Even oily skin needs moisturizer, but use one that is lightweight, gel-based, and non-comedogenic, or doesn’t block your pores
wow aloe vera gel is best
Sunscreen: Sunscreen is another part of this CTMS routine. Apply sunscreen if you are going out or when you are under much light. sunscreen with at least 30 SPF 15 minutes before heading out.
Aroma magic aloe vera sunscreen is one of the best organic sunscreens for oily/ combination skin.
2. Body care
After the face comes to the body's skin. It also has a routine Cleanse your body daily. Taking bath daily keeps you fresh and your skin rejuvenate if you care for it.
You can use homemade body scrub – turmeric+ Gramflour+ rice flour. These three have many skin benefits.
Use olive oil for a body massage at least thrice a week. It will tighten your skin, make it more smooth. It also tightens the pores and moisturizes your whole body giving you a better feel.
At night time use glycerin and rose water or normal water and massage on your body like moisturizer and believe me you will be amazed to touch your body after you wake up the next morning.
3.Weekly skincare
See the simple you use the better it is. You will find hundreds of hacks and remedies.
Don’t try everything on your skin. Your skin is not a lab for the experiment.
Depending on your skin type and after thorough research find out the best one and first do a patch test then only if it doesn’t create any problem use on your skin.
Here I am giving some packs.
Tomato juice as a toner
Tomato juice is widely used as a toner. It is also known that it helps in shrinking pores. Mix tomato juice with a few drops of lemon and apply it on your face. Rinse with lukewarm water. Regular use of this will give you the best results.

Rosewater is one of the best toners out there, which is suitable for all skin types. You can make it on your own and store it in a spray bottle and use it. It would help to soothe and calm the skin, balance ph levels, and help repair the skin's elasticity.
Turmeric can do wonders
Turmeric consists of natural anti-oxidant, antiseptic, and skin-brightening properties. Applying a paste of turmeric will help remove tan and treat blemishes. Lemon is high in Vitamin C and antioxidants, making it another excellent skin brightener, A paste made with curd as a base and mixed with turmeric and lemon is excellent for removing tanning.

I use coconut oil to take off makeup. These works as good moisturizers too.
Before going to bed, try massaging a small amount of coconut oil onto your face for some minutes & let it soak in for a few minutes and wash off if your skin is oily or combination. Keep it if you have dry skin.
You can do the massage on your whole body before bath.

Research shows those who exercise even simple ones every day are much healthy and also having glowing skin and shiny hairs.
Your mitochondria work more efficiently and free radicals reduce which slows down the aging process. So exercise is a gem!!
Also, exercise triggers your body to release chemicals called endorphins. These endorphins interact with the receptors in your brain that reduces your perception of pain.
Endorphins also trigger a positive feeling in the body, makes you feel happy, and release the mental and physical stress which were another reason for skin problems. It also boosts your energy level.
